JAMIESON VS RAYMOND

Amy Jamieson – The Precision Specialist

Amy is a predominantly a line flyer, she started her flying career at Ifly Downunder. She is currently the Low- Middle Speed Champion. Her fast passed large lines make her one of the leading flyers in the middle speed division with a lot to contend with.

Amy Jamieson is one of the most consistent and technically sound pilots in the BPC circuit. Her calculated approachallows her to execute precise lines while maintaining high speed. She secured the Mid-Speed Champion title in BPC 3, proving that she can handle high-pressure situations. However, her struggle with extreme pressure and trick execution under stress led to costly busts in BPC 4.

Performance Trends & Analysis

  Strengths

  1. Speed and Precision

    • One of the cleanest flyers in the BPC circuit.

    • Rarely makes unforced errors when flying at full speed.

  2. Handles Pressure Well (Except in BPC 4)

    • BPC 3 win proves she thrives in championship moments.

    • Generally maintains composure better than most competitors.

  3. High-Level Technical Flying

    • Executes crisp, well-thought-out lines with minimal corrections.

    • Excels at maintaining control over high-speed movements.

  Areas for Improvement

  1. Needs to Improve Trick Execution Under Pressure

    • Accumulated 34 total trick busts across all events—a key weakness.

    • BPC 4 Round 1 was a disaster due to trick errors.

  2. Occasionally Struggles with Adaptability

    • Had difficulty adjusting to Jacob’s speed in BPC 2.

    • Needs to be more flexible when facing faster, riskier pilots.

  3. Early-Round Performance Needs Refinement

    • Tends to start slow or shaky, then improve later in matches.

    • Should focus on reducing early-match errors to stay competitive.

  Commentary Insight

"Amy Jamieson is the precision specialist of BPC—her speed, control, and clean execution set her apart. She proved her championship caliber by winning BPC 3, but her struggles with trick execution and adaptability in high-pressure scenarios remain her biggest challenges. If she can tighten her performance under stress, she’ll be a dominant competitor in future BPC events."

Amy currently coaches and instructs full time at Ifly Downunder.
